General

In these terms and conditions, “the ticket holder’ means the person to whom the ticket and/or booking was made for and/or any person who is carried by virtue of the ticket. ‘The Carrier’ means Curtis Ferry Services (CFS) and any of the carriers agents, representatives or contractors. CFS is not a common carrier and reserves the right to refuse transport of any ticket holder, luggage, freight, goods and vehicle without reason.

All schedules and information are correct at the time of publishing; however, these can be subject to alteration, sometimes without notice. All services and reservations provided are subject to the conditions of the carrier and no responsibility is accepted by Curtis Ferry Services for misrepresentation, unforeseen errors or additional costs incurred, including those arising from adverse weather conditions or any situations beyond the control of Curtis Ferry Services. Refunds may not be available for unused services.

Check-in time for vehicles is to be a minimum of 30 minutes prior to departure. Due to loading requirements, Curtis Ferry Services reserves the right to refuse boarding for any vehicles that check-in after this time. The ticket holder shall at all times follow and carry out all directions of the Master and Crew of the vessel, particularly in relation to personal safety or that of other passengers. Your vehicle must be securely parked and the hand brake applied to prevent any movement. If you fail to follow these instructions, you will be responsible for any consequent damage your vehicle may cause. You must accept any direction of the crew or master whilst loading and unloading of your vehicle/s. CFS takes no responsibility for any loss or damage during the loading and unloading of your vehicle/s.

Vehicle/trailer dimension declaration

The overall dimensions of a vehicle or trailer must include any additional load that would otherwise change the length, height, or width of the item excluding side mirrors. The length of trailers must be measured from the towball or hitch to the end of the item including any overhang. Due to complexity of loading and limited deck space, Curtis Ferry Services reserves the right to refuse boarding where the overall dimensions have been incorrectly declared. Standard vehicles are under 5.5m. Vehicles over this and under 6.5m are large vehicles. Eg Dual Cab Cruisers, F trucks.
