Curtis Ferry Services maintains a supply line to the outer harbour islands on a regular basis. You can book a trip aboard the ferry by ringing 07 4972 6990. Cruise Gladstone's harbour, stay the day on the island and catch the ferry back to the mainland in the afternoon - a great break from routine!

 

 

 

 

Island Cruise

Island Cruises are an ideal way for visitors and locals alike to take in the sights of Gladstone Harbour and its many island. Island Cruise passengers are welcome on any scheduled departure.

 


Port of Gladstone Harbour Tour

The Port of Gladstone Harbour Tour is the best way to experience Gladstone’s enormous and bustling harbour while aboard the Curtis Endeavour II. You can expect great company, coffee, and refreshments from the licensed bar. Along with expert commentary on the many exciting aspects of the Gladstone Harbour, which is sure to reveal some amazing facts you didn’t know.

 

The Port of Gladstone Harbour Tour operates from April to November, departing the Curtis Ferry Services terminal every Wednesday and Sunday at 11:00am and returning at 1:00pm. Please contact the Gladstone Information Centre for bookings on (07) 4972 9000.

 

 

Curtis Island

Curtis Ferry Services lands at the small township of South End on the south-eastern tip of Curtis Island. Rental Units and holiday homes are available at South End.

Capricorn Lodge (phone 07 4972 0222) provides accommodation, food, licensed bar fuel, bait and ice. A camping ground is situated approximately 1km from the boat ramp.

Permits are required for its use and may be purchased from Gladstone Information Centre. Public access to Curtis Island National Park, Turtle Street and Joey Lee’s is via South End. Camping permits are required and can be obtained from Queensland National Parks & Wildlife Service in Gladstone. Beyond South End is accessed by 4WD only.

Facing Island

Curtis Ferry Services lands at the small settlement of Farmers Point on the north-western tip of Facing Island. Access by 4WD only.

The oaks camping ground is situated approximately 2km north of Farmers Point. Permits are required for the use of this ground and may be purchased from the Gladstone Information Centre.
